Bali is one of the most visual stunning and jaw dropping places to visit. Spending over a month on this beautiful island is one of the best things I have done to date. While Bali isn’t a large island that does not mean it is lacking in unique things to see and do. The island has a surf town called Canggu, a family town called Sanur, a spirtual Yogi paradise name Ubud and many other must sees. I started off my trip in the rainforest of Ubud and let me say a week wasn’t long enough, there is so much to do, see and eat! So lets get started!
❥ Rice Fields
Ubud is home to some of the most amazing rice fields one in particular Tegalalang Rice Terrace. These rice fields are picture worthy and are perfect for an early morning stroll.
Now the Tegalalang rice terrace may be the most famous but their are so many others that are worth exploring.
Plus you can stop and see some of the insta famous places like the “Love Bali” sign!
❥ Monkey Forest
Now a trip to Ubud is not complete without stopping by the famous Monkey Forest! They are the cutest little guys and the architecture is amazing. Its so fun to get lost just walking through the forest.
❥ Shopping Paradise
Now I love to shop, and I really love to shop when i’m abroad. You are exposed to so many different things you won’t see in your home country. Ubud was hands down the best place to shop in Bali, it was up to date on all the trends and bonus it was affordable. I love the luxury items and every piece was well made but at amazing prices!
Not only is there so much to do but there is so much to EAT! Ranging from vegan to healthy to American and Mexican, any type of food you want you can find. The food is high quality and very cheap, which means you can eat more of it!!!
Ubud is a must visit destination, the people, the food, the culture it all will leave wanting more. Make sure any trip you make to Bali you add a stop in Ubud!
Keep a wandering spirit my friends and thanks for following along!
